Mojhgan & Chris – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario
Mojhgan and Chris are a fun-loving couple whose wedding introduced us to some unique traditions, including our first Persian ceremony!
It was a big crowd on hand, with 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen on each side. The girls were at the salon, while the guys were back at the hotel getting ready. Mojhgan got into her first dress of the day, while Chris put on his white tuxedo jacket. They had a give exchange in the morning and made their way to the Caboto Club for the Persian ceremony.
The Persian ceremony was held at the Caboto’s DaVinci room. Chris and Mojhgan were seated at a special altar fitted with candles and a ceremonial mirror. Next, the couple made their way to St. George Romanian Orthodox Church for the second ceremony. The crowns were placed upon their heads and they exchanged vows and rings. Chris and Mojhgan were now husband and wife!
For the creative shoot, we worked alongside photographer Heike Delmore. We took a stroll through the Queen Elizabeth Gardens at Jackson Park and shot some footage in front of the grand facade of Kennedy High School. At that point, we needed to cool off… and went to the reception venue, The Caboto Club. The guests sipped champagne and enjoyed our Perfect Shutter photo booth. Before the cake cutting we got to witness the traditional knife dance performed by family members. Mojhgan and Chris danced their first dance as husband and wife… and opened up the dance floor for the rest of the night’s celebration.
Congratulations Mojhgan and Chris! It was a blast being part of the day and we hope that you love what we’ve captured for you!
