Sarah & Marco – A Wedding Love film in Widnsor, Ontario

Sarah is a familiar face to us…. you may have even spotted her in some of our previous videos. She’s a talented pianist, who is often playing at weddings around Windsor. Now, the big day has come for Sarah and Marco… and this love of music is reflected in various elements of their wedding day.

In the morning, I joined Sarah and her family at home getting ready for the big day. Meanwhile, Samson was with Marco and his groomsmen out in the Tecumseh area. We were on hand for a morning gift exchange and a large family gathering at Sarah’s household. Once the bridal party was ready, we made our way to Via Italia.

The beautiful ceremony took place at St. Angela Merici on Erie Street. The church was packed with friends and family as Sarah and Marco said their “I do’s” and exchanged rings.

After a quick break and snack at St Angela’s reception hall, we ventured off to the creative shoot. We worked alongside Frank Hupalo of Frank Michael Photography. We spent some time shooting in and around Willistead Manor, then headed to the Ciociaro Club for some more creative shooting.

The Ciociaro Club looked elegant and stunning. Guests enjoyed the antipasto buffet while being serenaded by a string quartet. After some sweet and touching speeches, Sarah and Marco danced their first dance. The guests then joined the new couple on the dance floor while a live band played throughout the night.
Marco and Sarah, thank you so much for having us along on the most important day of your lives. We hope you love what we’ve captured for you!

Laura & Bob | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at St. Clair Centre for the Arts in Windsor, Ontario

Laura & Bob – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

The wedding day of Laura and Bob was a fun-filled celebration, featuring a touch of Scottish tradition and a hint of country flair!

The morning of the festivities, we made our way out to Belle River. We started the day with Laura and the bridesmaids getting hair and makeup done. Ahmad and Samar then split off and joined Bob and the boys getting ready.

When the whole wedding party was ready to go, we made our way to St. Simon – St. Jude Catholic church for the ceremony. Laura arrived at the church in an incredible vintage Rolls Royce. In front of all their family and friends… Bob and Laura exchanged vows and rings, and shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

After the ceremony, we worked alongside photographer Frank Michael for the creative shoot. We made our way back into Windsor, and converged on the historic Willistead Manor. We filmed a little inside the building, then headed outside where the gardens were in full bloom.

The reception was held at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts. The venue was decorated in a sharp and classy, black and white motif. Overlooking the beautiful Detroit skyline, Laura and Bob danced their first dance. For the rest of the night, the guests dined and danced, celebrating the union of the newly wed couple.

Rosanna & Aaron – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

Love is an amazing thing. You never know when and where you’ll find it. Some of our couples find their sweethearts in high school. Others have met through friends, family and even online. And sometimes it’s a purely chance meeting that brings two people together. Sometimes.. it’s just fate. In the case of Rosanna and Aaron… it was a chance meeting that brought these two together. Their paths just happened to cross at a local convenience store… and their story snowballed from there. It just goes to show you… love can sneak up on you, when you least expect it!

The big day started at Caesars Windsor, where everyone was getting ready. Rosie was getting her hair done with the girls, and then put on her traditional Chinese outfit for the morning tea ceremony. When Aaron and his groomsmen were ready, they ventured over to the girls’ room to “fetch the bride”. In order to see the bride though, the guys had to perform a few tasks… including a little singing and dancing. After a satisfactory performance, Aaron saw Rosie for the first time on their wedding day, and they joined family for the tea ceremony.

The ceremony was held at the Art Gallery of Windsor. Rosie had changed into her white dress and made her way down the aisle to meet Aaron. The couple exchanged vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss.

It was a cold October day, but the wedding party braved the weather for the creative shoot. Along with photographer Ahmad A.Taam, we toured the Hiram Walker Canadian Club Brand Centre. The fall foliage worked as a beautiful backdrop for the photo and video shoot.

The reception was held at the Ciociaro Club of Windsor. We were blown away by the details! From the candy buffet, to the cake table and crystal podium, you could see the love and care put into planning this beautiful celebration. Family and friends dined and danced into the night… an ode to Rosie and Aaron’s love story.

Jennifer & Mitch | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Hiram Walker Canadian Club Brand Centre in Windsor, Ontario

Jennifer & Mitch – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

If I were to describe the wedding day of Jennifer and Mitchell… the words classy and romantic come to mind. With their loving parents and supportive wedding party by their sides, Jen and Mitch were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony in Windsor.

The day of the wedding, Ahmad and I made our way out to the Caesars Windsor Hotel, where Jen and the girls were getting ready. The hotel room was buzzing with activity, while Jen had her makeup and hair done. She and the bridesmaids then put on their dresses and made their way out to the ceremony venue. We then drove out to Tecumseh where Mitch and the boys were preparing for the day. Once the ties were tied and the jackets were on, we took some footage outside and then got ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony was held outdoors in the gardens behind the Hiram Walker Canadian Club Brand Centre. With a beautiful backdrop of the Detroit River, Jen and Mitch exchanged vows and officially began the next chapter in their lives together.

For the creative shoot, we took advantage of what the Brand Centre had to offer. We worked alongside their photographer, Ahmad from Signature Design and Photography and filmed outside in the gardens of Hiram Walker. Next, we spent a little time inside the stunning historical building itself.

The reception was held at the Giovanni Caboto Club. Jen and Mitch danced their first dance to the same song we used for their highlight video. We enjoyed a terrific meal, while listening to some heartwarming and funny speeches from the newlyweds’ siblings. Lastly, to end off the night, we went outside to film the video finale in the warm summer breeze.

Rachelle & Frank | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Caboto Club in Windsor, Ontario

Rachelle & Frank – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

Rachelle and Frank are a sweet & stylish couple that we had the pleasure of meeting a year ago, during their planning process. They had hired their photographer Jayme Morrison, and were recommended to us for video. They were looking for a great team to capture their wedding… and we were excited to be a part of the big day.

In the morning, Ahmad and I first joined Frank and the boys getting ready. They toasted with some hearty shots of Slivovitz and got dressed. Frank took a little quiet time to read a note from Rachelle and browse through a wedding journal that his future wife had been writing for him. We then went over to join Rachelle and the girls. The girls enjoyed some morning mimosas and got ready for the day. As Rachelle got dressed, hidden away in her room… Frank and the groomsmen stopped by the house to visit the rest of the wedding party and family.

The ceremony was held at St. Anne’s Church in Tecumseh. In that beautiful church, Rachelle and Frank exchanged vows in front of their friends and family. They then exchanged rings, and officially began their lives together as husband and wife.

For the creative shoot, we followed along with Jayme to a couple spots around town. First, we made our way over to Willistead Manor, shooting around the grounds outside. Next, we made our way over to the rustic Walker Power Building on Riverside.

The reception was held at the Caboto Club of Windsor. The hall was stunning… decorated with chandeliers and plenty of vintage details. After some emotional speeches, Centre Stage Entertainment and a live band got the party going.

Carley & Jason | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Chatham Armoury in Chatham, Ontario

Carley & Jason – A Wedding Love Story in Chatham, Ontario

This summer we celebrated the beautiful wedding day of Carley and Jason, in Chatham Ontario. It was our first time shooting a wedding in the city, so it was an especially fun and new experience for us!

The day of we wedding, Samson , Ahmad and I packed up the car and hit the 401 on our way up to Chatham. After a short 45 minute drive, we reached the Retro Suites hotel where everyone was getting ready. The hotel is unique, with many different themed and beautifully decorate rooms. Our video team bounced back and forth between rooms where Jason and his groomsmen and Carley and her bridesmaids were getting ready.

The ceremony was held at St Andrew’s church, just up the street. There, in front of all their friends and family Jason and Carley exchanged vows and officially began the next chapter in their lives together.

For the creative shoot, we joined their photographer Denise Blommestyn at a couple locations around town. We spent most of our time shooting outside, at a unique tree lined avenue and a small park by the river.

The reception was held at the amazing Chatham Armoury. What a cool venue! The high ceilings, natural light and exposed brick walls were stunning to shoot with. We enjoyed a terrific meal and some delicious cupcakes! After some seriously tear-jerking speeches, the crowd hit the dance floor as the sun began to set on Carley and Jason’s perfect day.

Anh & Russell | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at St. Clair Centre for the Arts in Windsor, Ontario

Anh & Russell – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

On a hot and steamy June day, we gathered up the team and set out to capture the wedding of Anh and Russell. I had met with Anh and Russell on a few occasions before the big day. With Windsor being the small city that it is, it turns out that Anh and I shared a number of common friends. And so… after getting to know them and being there on the wedding day … it felt like we were part of the family.

In the morning, Samson and I joined Russell and the guys as they got ready for the day. The boys got dressed and shared a champagne toast. Russell opened up a gift from Anh and then went outside for some photos with his motorcycle. We then ventured over and joined the girls. The house was busy with last minute tasks and preparations. With the help of her bridesmaids, Anh put on her dress and greeted her family who was waiting to see her.

The ceremony was held at the Parkwood Gospel Temple…. the largest and most epic church we’ve ever seen! Russell is a musician, and for the wedding procession he arranged a version of Train’s song, Marry Me for the string quartet and vocalist. Anh walked down the aisle and joined Russell at the altar, where they exchanged vows and rings. Friends and family then made their way to the church courtyard where they had a traditional Asian tea ceremony.

For the creative shoot, we followed along with their photographers Steve and Jennifer Pomerleau. We strolled along the river at Bert Weeks Park and wandered though the historic Walkerville area.

The reception was held at the St Clair Centre for the Arts. We’re there practically every week… yet our couples and their decorators never fail to wow us with something new. We enjoyed a terrific meal, listened to some heartwarming speeches and danced the night away.

Congratulations Anh and Russell! We wish you all the best and hope that you love what we’ve captured for you!

Natalie and James | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Caboto Club of Windsor, Ontario

Natalie and James – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

How amazing it is that we get the chance to meet and work with such sweet, stylish, creative and inspiring couples! It was a pleasure spending the big day with Natalie and James… and you can see their story here!

On the morning of the wedding day, I first joined Natalie and the girls getting ready at Estetica Day Spa. Meanwhile, Samson was with James and his groomsmen getting prepped over in Amherstburg. We then made our way back to Natalie’s for the girls to get dressed. Purple was the colour of the day and all the details featured beautiful peacock feathers.

The ceremony was held at St. John The Evangelist, in Woodslee. In a touching traditional ceremony, Natalie and James exchanged vows and rings and began the next chapter of their lives together.

For the creative shoot, we followed along with photographer Jayme Morrison to the Windsor Airport. What a surprise we had there! We captured some cool, unique footage in an airplane hangar at the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association. Then we ventured out onto the tarmac to film alongside a vintage, propeller biplane!

The reception was held at a beautifully decorated Caboto Club. The dance floor was packed as the band Transeo kept the crowd salsa-ing throughout the night. Natalie and James too, showed off their skills on the dance floor.

Sabrina & Enzo | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at St. Clair Centre for the Arts in Windsor, Ontario

Sabrina & Enzo – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

Sabrina and Enzo…. what can we say? They’re one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever met and one of the most stylish and memorable weddings we’ve filmed! It was a day filled with classic elegance and beautifully unique details.

The morning of the big day, I joined all the girls getting ready at Sabrina’s home. As the bridesmaids got their makeup done, Sabrina donned her customized dress and Chanel jewelry. Meanwhile, Ahmad joined the boys at Enzo’s. The groom-to-be gave everyone lessons on folding a pocket square, then got dressed in a slick grey suit with a custom embroidered tie.

The ceremony was held at St. Angela Merici, in the heart of Windsor’s little Italy. Sabrina was escorted down the aisle by her father, into the arms of Enzo. In front of all their family and friends, the two exchanged vows and rings and began the next chapter of their lives together.

It was a hot, hot afternoon for the creative shoot! We followed along with their photographers Brandon and Jessica Springer for a romantic photo and video session. Some unique ideas featured shots with a classic MG roadster and a whole bunch of giant white balloons! We toured around the Jackson Park and Kennedy Collegiate High School for
some additional shots.

After the creative photoshoot, we made our way to the reception at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts. As soon as we stepped into the hall… our jaws dropped! The table arrangements, the table coverings and the crystal chairs… it was like nothing we had ever seen before. Guests watched Gone with the Wind projected on the walls as they dined, and a live band kept the crowd moving throughout the night. It was a stunning celebration for a stunning couple!

Victoria & Mark | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Willistead Manor in Windsor, Ontario

Victoria & Mark – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

After moving away and settling down in Sarnia, Victoria and Mark returned to Windsor for celebrate their beautiful wedding day. It was a fun, festive (and a little bit rainy) wedding day that was a pleasure to be a part of.

The morning of the big day, Samson and I split up to film the bridal party preparations. I joined Victoria and the girls, while Samson hung out with the guys out in Amherstburg. Once everyone was dressed and ready, we made our way to historic Willistead Manor for the ceremony. All eyes were on the forecast, as rain clouds hovered above.
Unfortunately, literally minutes before the ceremony was set to begin, it began to rain! The outdoor ceremony was moved indoors to one of the beautifully appointed rooms of Willistead. In front of a packed house of loving friends and family, Victoria and Mark exchanged vows and began a new chapter in their lives!

Thankfully, the rain let up and we joined their photographer Anita Kiesler for the creative shoot. We filmed in and around Willistead Manor and also made our way to downtown Windsor, stopping by The City Beer Market and other locations.

The reception was nearby in downtown Windsor. The stunning St. Clair Centre for the arts was decorated in classy black and white. There, Victoria and Mark’s guests dined, danced and celebrated into the night!
