Violeta & Ryan – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

The wedding of Violeta and Ryan was a fun-filled occasion, with a touch of Polish flair!

On the big day, we found ourselves at some familiar locations, filming alongside their photographer John Lyons. We started the morning capturing Ryan and the guys getting ready. Once the shoes were shined and the bow ties were tied, we made our way over to join Violeta and the girls. The bridesmaids donned their dresses as Violeta stepped into a stunning Maggie Sottero.

Once everyone was looking their best, we made our way to Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. There, Violeta and Ryan exchanged rings and vows, and officially began the next chapter in their lives together! The creative shoot was a little bit urban and a little bit nature. We started off at Malden park, then made our way to downtown Windsor. We trekked trough a little mud, and we climbed a fire escape. Anything to get the shot!

The reception was held at the St. Clair Centre for the Arts. Violeta and Ryan celebrated with their guests, enjoying a terrific dinner, a live band and some late night perogies & sausage! It was a beautiful night, and a perfect end to an amazing day.

Brittany & Tam | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Willistead banquet room of Windsor, Ontario

Brittany & Tam – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

Tam and Brittany’s big day featured both Vietnamese cultural traditions and unique, vintage wedding style. Their bubbly personalities and chic, distinctive wedding touches made the day simply a pleasure to shoot.

In the morning, Tam along with his family and groomsmen visited Brittany’s house bearing traditional gifts to receive the bride. The couple and their families then made their way to Tam’s house. There, they lighted incense, received a blessing and had a Vietnamese tea ceremony.

After the traditional cultural ceremony, Tam and Brittany made their way back to their respective homes to get ready for the rest of the day’s festivities. Ahmad joined the boys getting ready, as I filmed the girls preparing for the day.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather this day. Brittany and Tam exchanged touching vows in a contemporary ceremony in the courtyard of the beautiful Willistead Manor. These high school sweethearts were now husband and wife!

For the creative shoot, we followed along with Justin and Courtney of Wet Fresco Photography. We toured the grounds of Willistead Manor and also did a little shooting in the elegant mansion.

The reception was held in the Willistead banquet room. The classic decor set a beautiful mood for the night’s events. Guests enjoyed a slideshow and a delicious light meal, and the DJ rocked the dance floor for the celebration.

Congratulations Brittany and Tam! We wish you all the best and hope that you love what we’ve captured for you!

Mary Lou & James | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Sprucewood Winery of Harrow, Ontario

Mary Lou & James – A Wedding Love Story in Harrow, Ontario

The wedding of Mary Lou and James was a day of surprises. Even the fact that we would be there to film the day was a big, carefully crafted surprise for the bride!

We had met with Mary Lou and James over a year ago, and chatted over coffee. They were big fans of our work, but throughout the busy planning process, videography was simply never finalized. Fast forward to just a few weeks before the wedding…. when we got a call from James. He knew that Mary Lou still really wanted us to capture their wedding day, so he put together the plan for us to surprise her on the big day!

On the day of the wedding, Samson and I made our way to the salon for the secret mission. As Mary Lou was getting her hair done, we showed up for the big surprise. Cameras in hand, we filmed her reaction as we arrived and explained how James had planned it all out. There were definitely some tears of joy! Up next, there was another surprise in store. James sent a package to the salon for Mary Lou as well. As she unwrapped the gift, she found the pair of blue Manolo Blahniks that she had seen and wanted but decided to pass up. It was an emotional morning, full of surprises! We sent James a text, letting him know that everything had gone according to plan. Then Samson made his way to capture the groom and his best man getting ready.

The ceremony was held at the grand and beautiful St. Joseph’s Church overlooking River Canard. In a unique and personal touch, the choir was comprised of students from the school that Mary Lou teaches at. With all their friends and family on hand, Mary Lou and James exchanged vows and officially became husband and wife.

The reception took place at Sprucewood Shores Estate Winery in Harrow. Around the vineyard and along the beach, we followed along with their photographer Trevor Booth for the creative photo session. Guests enjoyed sipping the local wine, relaxing in the lounge and snapping some shots in the photobooth. It was a perfect end to a very special day.

Thank you James and Mary Lou for having us along on your wedding day. It was an exciting mission, and a pleasure sharing the day with you. We hope you love your videos!

Cari & Mark | A Penetanguishene, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Discovery Harbour of Penetanguishene, Ontario

Cari & Mark – A Wedding Love Story in Penetanguishene, Ontario

Mark and Cari’s wedding day was a beautiful experience and quite an adventure for our video team! The wedding was held in Penetanguishene, Ontario…. north of Toronto and just a short drive from Wasaga Beach. Neither myself nor Ahmad had been to this area of Ontario before, so the trip was definitely going to be a new experience.

The day before the wedding, Ahmad and I loaded up the car and began the six hour trek to Penetanguishene. The winding, tree-lined roads and hilly countryside aren’t something we’re used to seeing in Windsor! We settled down in our hotel for the night and got some rest before the big day.

In the morning, we split up the video team in order to film the preparations. I joined the girls getting ready, while Ahmad joined the guys at their hotel. The day’s events then moved to Discovery Harbour in Penetanguishene. The outdoor ceremony was held on the boardwalk overlooking beautiful Georgian Bay. Against this picturesque backdrop, Cari and Mark exchanged vows and became newlyweds!

For the creative photo/video session, we toured the Discovery Harbour area. We took a stroll on the boardwalk and went out onto the dock. The reception was held at Captain Robert’s Table. As the sun set over the Bay, Mark and Cari’s friends and family celebrated, dining and dancing the night away.

Thank you Cari and Mark for inviting us to Penetanguishene to celebrate with you. The wedding was beyond beautiful, and the trip was an experience we won’t forget. We hope that you love the videos we’ve put together for you!

Francesca & Joseph | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at Caboto Club of Windsor, Ontario

Francesca & Joseph – A Windsor Royal Wedding

It was an honour and a pleasure being a part of the wedding day of Francesca and Joseph. Everything was truly picture-perfect, and the event was even described by the Windsor Star as “the wedding of the year”. We’re always amazed by our couples’ loving attention to the details, when planning their big day. All that effort and planning they put in, is a reflection of their love and a testament to the importance of their wedding day.

We brought a team of three to capture the wedding day of Francesca and Joseph. Samson met up with Joe to film his morning preparations, while I joined Francesca at the salon for hair and makeup. The bride and groom, and their families then made their way to St. Gregory’s Church in Tecumseh for the ceremony. Francesca and Joseph exchanged touching vows in front of a packed house at St. Greg’s, and officially began a new chapter in their lives!

It was our third time this year, working alongside the talented Ahmad A.Taam of Signature Design and Photography. We followed along for a creative photo shoot at Willistead Manor, and at Joe’s home.

The Caboto Club was sparkling thanks to decor by Elegance by Design. Guests were entertained by a live band, Arabic drummers and our very own Perfect Shutter photo booth. We enjoyed the great food, and celebrated with Joeseph, Francesca and all their friends and relatives into the night.

Terri & Jonathan | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at St. Clair Center of Windsor, Ontario

Terri & Jon – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

Despite all the rush and chaos surrounding a wedding day, it’s really magical to see a couple so focused on each other and loving every moment of their big day. This is what really stood out to me about being with Terri and Jon on their wedding day, and what made it truly a pleasure to capture!

On the big day, myself, Samson and Ahmad packed up our gear and ventured out to Tecumseh to begin a day of filming. At their respective homes, we captured both the guys and the girls preparing for the day. We then hopped into the limo bus, and took a short drive to the church. It was a beautiful ceremony, and our first time shooting at St. Anne’s Church in Tecumseh.

After the ceremony, we followed along with the bridal party and their photographer Rick O’Brien for the creative photo shoot. We stopped off at a park along Riverside Drive and at The Walker Power Building for some filming and photos.

The reception was held at the beautiful St. Clair Centre for the Arts. Against the backdrop of the Detroit Skyline we celebrated along with Terri and Jon, with live drummers and a band, and some traditional Lebanese dancing. As well, the crowd was surprised and entertained by a touching (and hilarious!) video produced by Terri’s sisters.

Renee & Corey – A Wedding Love Story in Windsor, Ontario

On the wedding day of Renee and Corey, we got the chance to meet our bride and groom for the first time! That’s because the videography plans were arranged by Corey’s mother, Debbie, as a special treat for their wedding day. But, despite not getting to know Renee and Corey through the usual pre-planning consultations, at the end of the day we went home with a unique perspective on their love story. As videographers, we have the best seats in the house during the vows, speeches and throughout the entire celebration. Through our unique and intimate perspective, we capture all the sights, sounds and mood of the most important day of their lives. Nobody experiences a wedding like we do! And that’s why we develop a certain connection to our couples… even though we may be meeting them for the first time!

On the big day, Samson and I made our way out to Lasalle to capture the bridal party preparations. After a few toasts, a few gifts and a few tears… family and guests convened on the Sacred Heart Parish for the wedding ceremony. Within the grand church, Renee and Corey exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony.

After the ceremony, we meandered through some local parks on the way back to Windsor. We followed along with Rhonda from Bonneau Photography and shot some fun footage out amongst the natural scenery. The reception was held at the Ciociaro Club of Windsor. The evening featured a live band, an impressive guitar solo by a guest and a lot of ringing bells! We dined and danced, and celebrated the newlywed couple.

Terace & Jonathon | A Detroit, Michigan Wedding Highlight at MGM Grand Detroit and the Infinity Yacht

Terace and Jonathon – A Wedding Love Story on the Infinity Yacht

The marriage of Terace and Jonathon was one of the most unique occasions we’ve had the pleasure of being a part of! The couple was wed and celebrated their nuptials on board a 120ft Infinity Yacht, sailing up and down the Detroit River. How amazing is that!?

Both the bride and groom started their days with preparations at the MGM Grand Detroit. Samson and I split up to film the bridal parties getting ready for the big day. After some photos and video around the hotel grounds, we made our way to the Jefferson Beach Marina for boarding.

The rest of the day’s events were to be held on board the luxurious and elegant Infinity Charter Yacht. In an intimate ceremony, Terace and Jonathon exchanged personalized vows, as we sailed up the river between Windsor and Detroit.

With a beautiful sunset on the horizon, guests made their way to the open-air upper deck, which doubled as a dance floor. After sailing and dancing the night away, the ship returned to dock and we made our way back to land.

Thank you Terace and Jonathon for choosing us to capture your wedding day. It was a beautiful wedding and such a unique and memorable experience! We hope you love your videos and wish you all the best in your travels!

Mandeep & Sameet | The Sikh Marriage: Windsor wedding videography

Mandeep and Sameet – A Wedding Highlight Reel

The marriage of Mandeep and Sameet was an event unlike anything we had experienced before. The couple was wed in a beautiful, traditional Sikh marriage ceremony. The festivities lasted all weekend, featuring traditions from both the Indian culture and the Sikh faith. It was a beautiful and grand celebration, and an honour to be a part of!

The weekend began at The Windsor Inn On The River Bed and Breakfast, where the Mehndi celebration was held. We filmed as Mandeep and the women had intricate henna designs applied. As you watch the video, you’ll see many of the unique and beautiful traditions involved in the celebration. There’s great emphasis on the exchange of gifts, the application of jewellery and music and dancing. We dined and danced along with the guests, but didn’t stay out too late… as we had a big day ahead of us.

The preparations for the wedding day began early in the morning. Our team headed out to Caesar’s Windsor Casino where the bride and groom were getting ready. Mandeep had her hair and make-up done, and was dressed in a beautiful, traditional outfit. Meanwhile, Sameet was in his suite, grooming his beard, applying his turban and also getting dressed.

The bride and groom went with their respective families to the Temple, where they met outside for the Milni ceremony. Sameet rode in on a white horse and entered the Temple. Mandeep and Sameet were then wed in the traditional Sikh ceremony known as Anand Karaj.

The photographers for the wedding were Mackenzie Froats of Windsor and Banga Photography from Toronto. We followed along with them to Willistead Manor for a creative photo shoot. Afterward, it was off to the Fogular Furlan Club for the reception.

The reception was full of entertainment, featuring dance performances by both a Punjabi folk dance team and a professional hip-hop dance group. Dholi drummers kept a packed dance floor moving throughout the night.

Sameet and Mandeep, we’d like to thank you for choosing us to capture your big day. It was such a beautiful experience, sharing your wedding celebration with you and your families. It was an amazing opportunity, being immersed in the beautiful culture and tradition. We hope that you love your video!

Kelly & Warren | A Windsor, Ontario Wedding Highlight at St. Clair Center of Windsor

Kelly and Warren – A Wedding Love Story

Kelly and Warren were married on a hot and steamy Canada Day weekend. Samson and I had the pleasure of spending the day with these two, as they celebrated a new chapter in their lives together.

Our team split up to film the morning’s preparations. The girls were getting hair and makeup done, while the guys got ready at the best man’s home. After some preparation photos, the bridal parties made their way over to the beautiful and grand Assumption Church. There, Kelly and Warren exchanged vows in front of all their friends and family.

After the ceremony, we followed along with their photographer Ahmad A. Taam of Signature Design and Photography, for a creative shoot. We snuck around a few cool spots in downtown Windsor and did our creative filming session. The newlyweds zipped around in a BMW Z3 roadster, before heading to the St. Clair Centre for the Arts.

It was our first time shooting at the former Cleary, and we were certainly impressed. Kelly and Warren’s decor choices were stunning. The new couple showed off some slick dance moves and partied the night away, along with their family and friends.

Thanks Kelly and Warren! It was great getting to know you two and fun spending the day with you. We hope that we’ve captured your day, how you’ll always want to remember it!
