We sat down with Ron Stang and talked a bit about the wedding photo booth rental business in Windsor, Ontario.

“It’s a great idea because everybody wants different today,” said wedding planner Lisa Best of Professional Wedding and Event Planning.

Samson Tse and Herman Chiu started Perfect Shutter last fall. The two had already run a wedding photography business, so the reinvented photo booth was a natural outgrowth.Typically photo booths, like the kind at the mall, hold just three people. Tse and Chiu’s booth is five by eight feet. “We can fit as many as 15 people,” he said.The idea behind the booth is for people to gather for fun group shots, often spontaneously and as an alternative to the formal photos taken of bridal parties.
